Holding Pattern

As it turns out, I have a few extra days until I can have my seat made, so I am in somewhat of a holding pattern, having traversed the country in less time that I had allowed. Thanks in no small part to the folks at BMW of Salt Lake.
If you have to kill a little time in Northern California, there is no better place to do it than Lake Tahoe. I spent the day at the beach. The water was cool but extremely refreshing and it is so clear you can see the bottom in 7 feet of water at least. This camp has a beach and marina with a bar and grill right on the beach, and it was all in easy walking distance from my campsite. This is heaven!
Where else can you have crystal blue skies, temps in the mid low 80"s with no humidity? No towel is needed, when you get out of the water you are totaly dry bathing suit included within 5 minutes. The beach is a family place and everyone I talked to has been coming here for years. The camp has a neat little general store, a coffee and bakery place and an ice cream store. I just had my evening cone to hold me over until tomorrow. People are very friendly and a motorcycle camping among the RV's brings lots of visitors. As you know, pictures do not do any place justice, but here are some shots of my little corner of heaven for the day.
