Let's Roll

Well,here is the steed all back in touring mode. When I got to the hotel and was looking over the bike I could not find my wire that plugs into my sound system from the GPS. I removed the body work on the left side and found Gordy had wire tied it up inside probably not knowing what it was, or where it went. No problem, all is fine now and it is off to Lake Tahoe tomorrow. Because I am now in Salt Lake and not Delta, UT, I guess I will have to take I-80 over to Tahoe. I had planned to take Rte 50 but I am too far north now to make that practical. Plus, I think it might be wise to be on a more traveled road until I am sure the bike is fine. Besides, I will pass the Bonneville Salt Flats which still facinate me. I would love to come out here when they have "speed week" and watch the speed freaks try to break the land speed records in everything from mopeds to rocket cars. That would be a blast, but maybe another time. So for now the old saying applies..... Go West Young Man! Well maybe OLD MAN!
