On my way down the mountain into the village of Steamboat springs the road was just beautiful, dry for a change and I was just enjoying the twisties at about 15 over the 55mph speed limit. Someone in a blue Nissan was pushing me and right on my tail, whick makes me nervous especially on a bike and all the wildlife of the LARGE variety that can almost instantly appear in front of you. At about this time I got a glimpse of this beautiful overlook. I slowed down with lots of flashing LED brake light application and turned around to take this picture of the Steamboat Springs valley. When I got back on the road and headed down the mountain, a Colorado Trooper had the Nissan pulled over. I have a feeling it was not going to be a warning, as by then it was raining and he did not appear to be enjoying having to have a conversation in the rain. :-) See sometimes it just does pay to smell the roses!
