Pony Express Stop #15

As you know, I elected to drive Rte 36 across Kansas instead of I-70. those trucks and besides Doug Raymond, one of the Mac Pac guys said this was a pretty road and had no traffic. It follows the route of the Pony Express across Kansas on the way to Sacramento. Here is the 15th station where the riders swapped the mail and headed out on a fresh horse. Stage coaches also paused here. Pretty impressive when you see the vast expanse of the state of KS and CO.
